During the filming of the third season of Hell On Wheels, disaster struck: the location was placed under mandatory evacuation due to the flooding in Calgary so production was put on hiatus.
Despite the setback, cast and crew worked round-the-clock to get the job done. The two-hour premiere of season three aired on August 10th on AMC. There will be ten new episodes stacked with murder and betrayal.
Some of the talent from Clearly Creative were on set as background performers, putting in really long days for lucrative rates of pay. If you’re interested in working as an actor, extra, or model in and around Calgary, we’re expanding our roster. The work is fun, not like building the Union Pacific railroad in the 1860s. In the future we’re going to do something a little different with the Clearly Creative blog; we’re going to interview some of our talent who worked as background performers on Hell On Wheels this summer. Check back!
